<!--[if gte mso 9]><![endif]-->Dr Samantha Phelan recently presented at the Darwin AMRRIC Conference on the upcoming Environmental Health Practitioner Manual she has written. She is also the author of another significant AMRRIC resource 'Conducting Dog Health programs in Remote Indigenous Communities- A Veterinary Guide'.
The Environmental Health Practitioner Guide was developed in collaboration with Indigenous Environmental Health practitioners from the NT and QLD. It presents information on understanding planning, organizing, and carrying out dog health programs in Indigenous communities from the Environmental Health Practitioners perspective. It is highly visual, clearly written, and heavily illustrated. This work has been possible thanks to funding from NT Department of Environmental Health and AMRRIC.
The Manual is due to be released early next year.
