I am the Invasive Species Management Officer for the Torrs Strait. As par of my role is to assist communities on island deal with feral animals such as wild dogs. Not all islands have packs of wild dogs. The majority of the dog issues as with camp dogs on the mainland are withing the village limits or A Deed of Grant in Trust (or DOGIT). Ihave had some conversations with the staff from AMRRIC regarding their DVD "Caring for Dogs,Caring for Country", which I think is a great inititive but looses its power when shown to island communities.
