In 2019, Roper Gulf Regional Council developed a series of radio recordings in Roper Kriol with support from AMRRIC.

These resources – available as Kriol recordings and English transcripts- cover a range of important animal health and welfare topics, and critically, are culturally and linguistically appropriate to a variety of remote Indigenous communities.

Below is an audio recording spoken in Roper Kriol, about the concept of animal welfare and why it is so important. Also included is a script in English of the audio.
