This activity helps students to identify where animals belong in the environment. Students place animals under the two titles “House” or “Bush/Sea”, to illustrate where the animal belongs. The activity highlights where our native animals belong and where our domesticated animals need to be. It enables students to understand the importance of being a responsible pet owner, by ensuring our domestic animals stay at home, thus reducing their potential detrimental impacts on our native wildlife.
