This animation was developed collaboratively by the Threatened Species Recovery Hub and AMRRIC, to educate and promote responsible pet ownership of cats in remote communities.
The animation is applicable for all ages and discusses important topics of cats and native animals, desexing, zoonotic diseases, keeping cats inside at night, and the significant role cats play in the future of the Australian environment.
AMRRIC is grateful to have been a part of working on this animation. Special thanks go to The Threatened Species Recovery Hub, MaxFoo Animation, The Australian Government.
This translation – Caring for Country: Managing Cats in Central-Arrernte – is available thanks to the work of Ethnolink in Victoria, made possible through the generous support of Wildlife Health Australia.
